Seminole County Friends of Abused Children, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 for the purpose of actively promoting and assisting efforts to provide for the needs of abused and neglected children throughout Seminole County and to promote the recruitment of volunteers and raising of funds to aid in such effort.
Our organization financially helps provide abused and neglected children with clothing, shoes, luggage, tutoring, school supplies, summer camp, eyeglasses, in-depth counseling/therapy, holiday gifts and educational, medical and legal needs. Most of the abused and neglected children that we currently help are involved in the Guardian Ad Litem Program of Seminole County.
Seminole County Friends of Abused Children, Inc. is a tax exempt 501(c)3 non-profit organization staffed by volunteers with minimal overhead expenses. The organization does not receive any federal funding and relies entirely on private contributions and grants for its funding. 100% of all donations are used towards our SCFAC, Inc. is registered as required by the "Solicitation of Contributions Act."
